How UniWP Works
UniWP is made up of two main components:
* The UniWP WordPress Plugin: this is installed on your WordPress website and allows seamless integration with Unity.
* The UniWP Unity Asset: this is installed in your Unity project, enabling it to communicate with your WordPress site.
Security
To ensure secure communication, all data exchanged between your Unity project and WordPress is encrypted using a secret key, which is automatically generated by the UniWP plugin.
WooCommerce Support
With version 1.6, UniWP introduces support for WooCommerce's official REST APIs, enabling you to work with WooCommerce directly from your Unity project.
Easily Extensible
The WordPress framework offers a wide range of functionalities, and installed plugins can introduce additional methods. UniWP is easily extendable, and you can add new APIs to introduce custom features and enhance its functionality.
