- This package provides a simple and easy-to-use solution for adding blurred backgrounds to UI Toolkit elements. It works on all render pipelines, including Built-In, URP, and HDRP, and is mobile-ready. The package includes multiple quality settings and full source code. It does not support UGUI or IMGUI, but is designed specifically for the new UI Toolkit.
The package is easy to use, with no setup or coding required. Simply add a new UIToolkitBlurredBackground element to your UI Builder Window and it will work like any normal visual element. The blurred background is drawn on top of your regular background, and you can adjust the blur strength and iterations to achieve the desired effect.
The package has some limitations, including no anti-aliasing for rounded corners and no support for VR. It also assumes forward rendering and may not work with deferred rendering. URP 2D projects are not officially supported, but normal URP projects are fully supported.
