- This package includes 4 tree bark smart materials suitable for detailed natural environments and assets. Each material is delivered in two forms:
* A Substance .sbsar file for procedural smart material generation and fine-tuning, with resolutions from 256x256 to 4096x4096 pixels.
* 3 sets of texture maps: 1024x1024, 2048x2048, and 4096x4096 pixels.
The Substance .sbsar files allow for procedural changes, such as changing or randomizing the location and density of elements and shapes, moss or snow level, color tint, and resolution. This enables fine-tuning the material to your needs or creating variants to avoid repetition.
The package includes the following materials:
* Pine tree bark
* Birch tree bark
* Plane tree bark with exfoliating patterns
* Old tree thick bark
All materials have a moss and snow procedural generator on top of the base layers.
Note: The Substance 3D for Unity free plug-in is required for the .sbsar files to work, and an /Adobe folder must be present in the /Assets project folder. The package is compatible with the Built-in, URP, and HDRP pipelines.
If you are using a Unity version prior to 2020.3.27, the Substance 3D to Unity plug-in and its associated .sbsar files may not work. However, you can still use the texture maps provided in the package with standard Unity Materials. - Technical Details:
