- Description:
- Traversal Pro characters are upright capsule colliders with dynamic rigidbodies, allowing for physics-force-based movement. Movement is not snapped or teleported to the ground each frame, making it easy to add physics forces for gameplay. Any Rigidbodies in the scene can act as platforms for Traversal Pro characters, and features are implemented as individual components, making it easy to customize and swap out components. The package includes a Playground sample scene with various features and assets, and is compatible with Unity's Input System and Cinemachine 3.
- Technical Details:
- Features include run, jump, sprint, air control, smoothly running up stairs, custom max slope, slide down steep slopes, realistic free-fall air resistance, custom free fall terminal velocity, custom gravity scaling per character/object, camera rotation with ground rotation, camera smooth-damping, smooth character mesh rotation, procedural lean animation, and more. Required packages include Input System and Cinemachine 3. The Playground sample scene includes features like first person/third person perspective switching, pause menu, gravity lift, dynamic train, and more.
