The Technie Virtual Console gives you unobtrusive yet powerful debugging aids for use when testing your game in VR.
Easy integration
Just drop the prefab into your VR project, and everything just works! A special interaction module lets you manipulate the consoles in game without needing to affect your game's input handling at all.
Hooks straight into Unity's debug console and displays your existing messages, warnings, errors and exceptions directly in VR.
Debug statistics for monitoring specific values in your game are a single function call to integrate.
Auto-pause lets you pause the Unity Editor from within VR, for when you've run out of hands.
Discord bug reporting lets you capture bugs and feedback for your own game without leaving VR, and sending the bug report to a discord channel of your choosing.
- Technical Details:
The Virtual Console supports natively Unity XR, SteamVR, Oculus SDK, PlayStationVR and WindowsMR. The asset store version support Unity 2019 upwards, and a version which supports earlier versions of Unity is available on request.
