- This package includes a set of Sweetgum trees with LODs and billboards, suitable for use in Unity. The trees are scanned from real-life models and come in various variations, including summer and fall versions. The package includes 3D models in fbx format, with 3 different presets (Balance, High, and Very High Geometry) and 8 different tree variations. The textures are in 4K tif format, with maps for Albedo (RGBA), Normal, Thickness, Height, and Unity Mask (Metallic, AO, thickness, and glossiness). The package is designed for use with HDRP, but can be converted to URP with some limitations. The built-in render pipeline requires replacement of shaders for correct rendering. A quick solution for built-in render pipeline is using The Visual Engine. The package includes LODs with varying triangle counts for each variation.
- Technical Details:
- This package was designed for use with HDRP, but can be converted to URP with some limitations. The vegetation will not react to translucency effect in the same way, and the thickness map will be missed in the Universal Render Pipeline. The post-processing and render settings from the Demo scene cannot be used in URP. In the case of built-in render pipeline, it is not possible to use the shaders, and must be replaced for correct rendering. A quick solution for built-in render pipeline is using The Visual Engine.
