- Sprite Shatter is a Unity package that allows for quick and easy shattering of 2D sprites into numerous configurable pieces. The package provides a simple user interface in the Unity Editor to shatter any game object with an associated sprite renderer into any number of pieces using varying patterns. The pieces are created as separate game objects at run-time, and the package uses the source sprite's original texture, reducing memory overhead. It supports circle, box, and polygon colliders for the shattered pieces, with configurable accuracy. The package comes with full source code and prefab support, and an example scene is provided for easy setup. Key features include grid, hexagonal, radial, and triangular layouts, zigzag feature, repeated shattering and resetting, transparent area ignoring, and optional colliders with configurable accuracy.
