Description:
This package provides a screen space effect that highlights and shadows objects, inspired by Blender's Viewport Cavity effect. The effect is split into two parts: curvature and cavity, with separate settings for each. The curvature settings control small-scale highlighting, while the cavity settings control larger-scale highlights. The effect can be adjusted using parameters such as pixel radius, brightness, and darkness. The package also includes a new feature that allows control of the effect per-object, using a global shader texture. The effect is compatible with Unity 2019/2020/2021/2022/2023, and supports Standard render pipeline, forward and deferred rendering, as well as Universal Render Pipeline 7.1.8+ and High Definition Render Pipeline 7.1.8+.

The effect can be used with G-Buffer normals, Camera normals, and Depth-reconstructed normals as a source of screenspace normals. The package includes example shaders for use with the 'output to global shader texture instead of the screen' mode, which is available for Builtin[2019/2020/2021], URP[2020/2021].
