- Description:
- Scene Notes brings Codecks cards into the Unity editor, allowing you to visualize and edit tasks, issues, docs, or notes directly from the Scene View. This is perfect for various use cases, including level design, QA, game design, and outsourcing studios.
You can create new cards and edit them directly from Unity, with properties such as title, contents, priority, effort, and status. Scene Notes can also be moved in space, assigned to a scene, and categorized.
The tool comes with a practical toolbar that allows you to hide/show notes, filter them by category, create new Scene Notes, copy scene metadata, search for notes, and more.
Scene Notes is an unofficial integration and is not associated with the Codecks team. It is compatible with Unity versions starting from 2022.x and is not supported in earlier versions.
You can preview the documentation and learn more about the functionality before purchasing. Additionally, you can get a discount on the All Editor Tools bundle, which includes Scene Notes. - Technical Details:
- The tool comes as an embedded UPM package and does not drop in Assets. Turning a Codecks card into a Scene Note is not a destructive operation, and no cards are lost if you decide to stop using this integration. Scene Notes can be edited from within Unity or from the Codecks website, and team members can still edit, create, or archive Scene Notes even if they are not Unity users. Codecks Scene Notes can be used in 2D games and is not a bug-reporting tool, as it only works in the editor and not at runtime.
