- Description:
- Runtime Level Design (RLD) is a suite of well-crafted level design tools that enables developers to build runtime level editors, modding tools, or any type of application/game that contains level design elements. It supports Standard and Universal Render Pipeline (URP) render pipelines, but does not support Render Graph. The plugin serves as a kickstarter project and API for developers who want to build their own in-game level editors. It does not contain a save/load API, so a separate package like Easy Save may be needed for saving and loading scenes. The plugin includes various features such as Unity Style Camera, Object Selection, Object Selection Restrictions, Extrude Gizmo, Object-to-Object Snapping, Surface Snapping, and more. It also provides a range of customization options, including Gizmo Look & Feel Customization, Hotkey Customization, and Scene Icons. The plugin is designed to be highly customizable and extensible, with a comprehensive API for developers to build their own level editors and tools.
