- RealToon is a high-end anime/toon shader for Unity that allows you to create realistic anime/cartoon styles for characters and objects. It supports various rendering pipelines, including Built-In, Lightweight, and High Definition Rendering Pipelines, as well as different rendering paths such as Forward, Forward+, Deferred, and Deferred+. The shader also supports Unity versions 5 to 2023, including future versions, and is compatible with VRM models and Vroid. It features a range of effects, including perspective adjustment, smear effect, SDF mode, smooth object normal, self shadow, normal map, FReflection, outline, gloss, shadowT, refraction, reduce shadow, screen space rim light, on object screen space outline, and DeNorSob outline. The shader also includes a tool for managing compiled cache and supports various post-processing effects. It is suitable for use in games, film/animation, and illustration/art, and can be used in VRChat and other virtual/metaverse platforms.
