- Proxima Runtime Inspector is a powerful tool that allows you to debug and control your game from any web browser. With Proxima, you can inspect and edit any property of your game objects, view logs, and send console commands. The tool is designed for various scenarios, including debugging and iterating mobile and VR builds, QA testing and data capture, user research studies, and live game demos at conferences and expos.
Proxima hosts a web server in your application, and when enabled, it displays the URL to enter into your browser to connect and start inspecting. The tool has a low overhead, scanning your game for changes only when viewing the inspector page, and it is secure, connecting over HTTPS and protecting access with a password.
The free version of Proxima includes features such as viewing game objects, components, and logs, creating, destroying, and duplicating game objects, viewing component properties, and viewing logs live or offline. The pro version includes additional features such as live-editing your scene with the inspector and command console, editing game objects, components, and properties, and controlling your game with a powerful command line interface.
Proxima is tested on various platforms, including Windows Standalone, Universal Windows Platform, MacOS Standalone, iOS, Android, and WebGL. The tool uses WebSocketSharp and HttpDateParse under MIT License.
