- ObjectRest is a simple and powerful REST web service for Unity that supports both server and client creation. It allows you to implement web services to integrate your clients with cloud services and backend operations. With ObjectRest, you can create and consume web services in the simplest possible way. Instead of spending hours implementing your backend solution, you can import ObjectRest and implement your methods with two simple annotations on your methods. The package extends any class from IRemoteController and requires annotating client methods with [ClientMethod] and remote methods with [ServerMethod] attributes. ObjectRest has its internal protocol and is designed to serve and consume data between ObjectRest Server and ObjectRest Client only. It does not provide a cloud plan, and you must hire or use your infrastructure to store your server in the cloud or own on-premise infrastructure.
- Technical Details:
- ObjectRest supports no CCU limits, no quotas, and no ties, allowing you to create as many games and instances as you wish and store as much data as you need. You can store your server wherever you want, on Amazon, Azure, Vultr, Custom, or Lan, and there are no pay-per-request or transfer fees. However, it is not natively supported for outside or another web service, and you must use ObjectRestClient to consume data and ObjectRestServer to provide information to other clients.
