- MC Terrain is a Unity package that uses the marching cubes algorithm to generate 3D terrain from noise. The terrain is divided into 16x16 chunks, allowing for an endless play area. The package includes a biome implementation with 11 different biomes, each with its own terrain textures, scenery, and vegetation. The player can interact with the terrain, raising and lowering it in play. The package is fully documented and includes a PDF guide for setting up the default player capsule.
The package is compatible with Unity 2021.3.0f1 and later, and supports the Built-in Render Pipeline, Universal Render Pipeline, and High Definition Render Pipeline. It also includes features such as GPU Instanced grass and water implementation.
Note that no scenery items except for grass are included with the package, and only a basic player capsule is provided. Check the included PDF documentation for details on setting up the default player capsule. - Technical Details:
