- MagicaCloth2 is a cloth simulation system that can be used with both Transform and Mesh. It works fast with Unity's DOTS (Data-Oriented Technology Stack) and doesn't affect the rendering pipeline. It has been improved from the previous version with new features such as edge collision, backstop, and self-collision. The system optimization integrates all components into one, eliminating the need for pre-build. It also supports time manipulation, point/edge based collision, penetration measure, and normal adjustment function. It has a full source code and supports uniform scaling, run-time builds, and more. It is compatible with all BuildRP/URP/HDRP render pipelines and doesn't require dedicated shaders. It has a simple and intuitive interface for quick setup.
- Technical Details:
- MagicaCloth2 is not compatible with WebGL and VisionOS due to Burst compilation and PolySpatial package issues. It also does not work with BlendShape deformed vertices. It requires Unity 2021.3.16 or higher, Burst 1.8.1 or higher, and Collections 1.4.0 or higher. The Burst and Collections packages are installed automatically.
