- I2 Localization is a complete localization system for Unity that supports various features for translating and managing game content. It supports Unity UI, Unity 2D, TextMesh Pro, NGUI, 2D Toolkit, SVG Importer, and Standard Components. The system localizes image, text, sounds, fonts, sprites, atlases, prefabs, TextMeshes, dropdowns, and more.
The system has built-in support for Google Translator to automatically localize all labels into any language. It also supports linking external Google Spreadsheets and CSV files, which will automatically download any changes.
I2 Localization has features such as detecting and fixing errors, sub-object translations, callbacks and parameters, plurals, right-to-left languages, and saving memory. It also has easy and efficient editing and previewing of translations, reusing translations, in-game dynamic translations, app name and store localization, and simple yet powerful editors.
The system also has compile-time checking, bake translations into script constants to avoid typos when accessing them on the code. It also has Playmaker actions to access and interact with localized elements and switching languages.
