* 125 hex tiles, with over 63 unique location types, some with multiple variations
* 143 road tiles for all possible permutations of hex grid roads
* 235 'decor' sprites that can be placed on any background terrain texture
Location types include:
* Farmland and silos
* Villages, including wood, thatched-roof, and burnt-down versions
* Castles and strongholds, including ruined and stone/wooden versions
* Pyramids, desert ruins, and oases
* Graveyards, marketplaces, churches, windmills, smithies, inns, and more
All tiles are hand-painted and can be used to create a unique and immersive medieval fantasy world. The package also includes a basic set of terrain tiles with no variations, as well as a sample scene to help you get started.
Note: This package is designed to expand upon the 'Hex Basic Set: Painted 2D Terrain' package, which includes basic terrain tiles with no variations. - Technical Details:
- The package includes transparent-background PNG files of all the hexes, drawn to fit within a 256x256px cell size. The images themselves are 256x384 pixels in size, allowing for mountains and castles to draw overtop of tiles behind them. If you need larger tiles, you can use an algorithmic upscaler to achieve good results. An example scene is provided to help you set up your project.
