- Core Features: Behavior States: Deer transition seamlessly between grazing, wandering, idling, and fleeing states, creating realistic movement and decision-making. Dynamic Fleeing: When danger is detected, deer dynamically calculate a flee direction and avoid obstacles using raycasting for smooth and believable escapes. Obstacle Avoidance: Integrated obstacle detection ensures deer navigate around objects while fleeing or moving, maintaining realism. Customizable Parameters: Fine-tune behaviors with adjustable settings for movement speed, fleeing distance, grazing time, and detection radius. Editor Integration: Easy-to-use inspector fields and gizmos let you define grazing areas, set danger layers, and visualize deer behaviors. How It Works: Deer wander or graze within specified areas until a threat (e.g., a player or predator) is detected. Upon detection, deer calculate a flee direction opposite the danger source and move toward a dynamically determined safe point. After fleeing, deer naturally return to idle or wandering states, maintaining a lifelike presence in the environment.
