Additionally, it provides instance context and tools, integration and tools, and management features such as runtime access, prefab proxies, and spatial hashing. Flora is compatible with Unity 2022.3 and later, and requires platform compute shader support. It also requires several Unity packages, including com.unity.burst, com.unity.collections, and com.unity.shadergraph.

- Flora 2.0 is rebuilt with performance as the top priority, featuring zero frame GCAllocs, Burst optimized jobs for uploading and culling, a modern GPU resident scene, dual-phase culling, and on-demand GPU streaming to maintain high performance and low GPU memory usage in complex scenes. It also includes a single buffer system, burst-mapped uploads, SOA layout, dynamically resizing buffers, and packed GPU transforms. Flora supports modern indirect rendering, including DX11, DX12, Vulkan, Metal, and modern console APIs. It also includes advanced GPU occlusion culling, CPU occlusion culling, dynamic density, global density, GPU streaming, LOD cross-fade, optimized batching, shadow optimization, light probe support, and advanced culling.
