- Description:
- Extended Colliders 3D provides a quick and easy way to create 3D colliders from primitive shapes that go beyond Unity's built-in sphere, cube, and capsule colliders. Each collider is added as a component to a game object at design time, and then created as a mesh collider at runtime from the parameters specified. A number of primitive shapes are supported, including cones, cylinders, and more, each with configurable options. Features include positioning, rotating, and scaling individual colliders, auto-sizing to existing meshes, and full gizmo support in the editor. An example scene, full source code, and instructions are also provided.
- Technical Details:
- This package supports a wide range of primitive shapes, including circles, half circles, cones, half cones, cubes, cylinders, half cylinders, dodecahedrons, icosahedrons, octahedrons, quads, toruses, triangles, spheres, half spheres, tubes, and half tubes. Each shape has many configurable options, such as smoothness, capping, skewing, and face visibility. The package also includes full gizmo support in the editor, allowing for previewing, positioning, rotating, and scaling of colliders, as well as unique color assignment for identification during design.
