- This Unity package, DSRC - Track02 (HDRP), is a comprehensive racetrack designed for desktop and console platforms. The track is highly detailed, with a base track of approximately 800,000 tris, split into multiple sections and LOD-grouped to save polycount. The track features 5 grandstands, 2 main grandstands, and a pit building, all highly detailed and optimized for performance.
The package includes a main car with 19,000 tris, customizable textures, and a variety of props such as extinguishers, pit walls, and track lights. The props are highly detailed, with an average polycount of 1k, and are LOD-grouped to save polycount on far distance. The package also includes characters, such as crew members, marshals, and drivers, with different shirts for each team, allowing for customization.
The package also includes garages, with one unique garage and four texture variation garages, each with a polycount of over 26k tris. The vegetation includes 3 mesh trees and 6 billboard trees, with billboard trees using shaders made with shadergraph. The textures are made with substance and photo-sourced, with a PBR workflow and highly detailed 2k textures.
The package also includes a custom collider for the track, with low-poly colliders for important objects and box colliders for props that can interact with the car. This is the best workflow for racing games, allowing for optimal performance and realism.
