- This module requires at least v3.1.3 of the Blaze AI Engine to work. It allows you to turn one AI character per scene into a predator that searches for its prey without knowing its exact location. The AI will try to find its prey within a specified radius, making it great for stealth and horror games.
The predator behavior flow can be customized and edited through the inspector, allowing you to choose what you need and leave the rest. The module includes a closing-in feature, where the searching radius decreases after each search point, making the AI more accurate and susceptible to finding the target.
The Predator Director has been equipped with various APIs and properties to call, such as entering and exiting the predator, specifying entry and exit points, and adding noise. The module supports everything Blaze AI does, including off-mesh links, and comes with a demo, source code, and documentation.
