- Description:
- This plugin allows you to create image tracking AR experiences on the web. It enables you to detect an image and place content on top of it, such as 3D models, videos, etc. You can track a single image or multiple images simultaneously. The plugin provides an example Monobehavior script to easily place content on top of the target image.
Features include:
* Track a single image or multiple images
* Use the tracked image information to place content from your Unity scene on top of the image
* Detect when a target is lost or found
* Configure parameters to reduce jittering and improve smoothness
The plugin is fast and works well on lower-end devices, not just high-end ones. It is also compatible with various browsers, including Android and iOS devices.
Limitations:
* Images to be tracked must be compiled beforehand and provided at build time
* Plugin size is approximately 3.27MB, including library files and target image
Complementary plugins include:
* ScreenshotWebGL for taking AR screenshots
* DeviceCameraWebGL and Recorder WebGL for recording AR experiences
* ShareNSaveWebGL for sharing and downloading AR screenshots and recordings
Browser support includes:
* Android: Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Opera, Samsung Internet
